Turkey's Ministry of Education sets LGS 2026 results date, launches digital leave system and outlines end‑term school‑活動

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) announced that the results of the 2026 LGS examination will be released on 10 July 2026 via the MEB website. In the same announcement, MEB confirmed the integration of its digital education platform (MEBBİS) with the Electronic Document Management System (EBYS), enabling school administrators and non‑teaching staff to submit leave requests entirely online, eliminating paper‑based forms.

MEB also detailed the programme for the final‑week “Culture, Art and Sports Activities Week” of the 2025‑2026 school year. Coordinators have been appointed, and a range of activities – from language workshops and library events to sports tournaments and community projects – will be tracked through the e‑Okul social‑event module for roughly 18 million students. The week ends on 26 June, after which students begin their summer break.

Separately, teachers’ unions highlighted a series of violent attacks on educators, accusing the ministry of inadequate safety measures and calling for stronger protection policies.
