Turkey's Education Ministry Launches Automated School Enrollment System

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has opened the address‑based registration system for primary and secondary schools, allowing parents to enroll their children without visiting schools. The new process automatically assigns students to the nearest suitable school based on their residence.

Parents can check their child's assigned school through the e‑Devlet portal using the service "Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı İlköğretim Okulları Adrese Göre Kayıt Okulu Sorgulama" at the URL https://turkiye.gov.tr/milli-egitim-ilkogretim-okullari-adrese-gore-kayit-okulu-sorgulama-e-kayit. The online portal and the registration queue will become active after 15 July 2026. Families with address changes or special preschool cases must contact the relevant school administration.
