Turkey’s gasoline and diesel prices hold steady in early June 2026
On 13–14 June 2026 Turkish fuel stations reported little change from the previous day. In Istanbul, gasoline (95 octane) was priced at 63.03 TL per litre, diesel at 66.41 TL and LPG at 31.99 TL. Ankara posted gasoline at 63.99 TL, diesel at 67.51 TL and LPG at 31.97 TL. Trabzon's rates were slightly higher (gasoline 64.73 TL, diesel 68.24 TL, LPG 32.29 TL) and İzmir showed gasoline at 64.27 TL, diesel at 67.74 TL, with LPG around 31.39 TL. Minor city‑to‑city differences reflect transport and distribution costs.
Analysts attribute the price stability to ongoing uncertainty in global oil markets, fluctuations in the US‑dollar‑lira exchange rate, and recent movements in Brent crude prices. Geopolitical developments in the Middle East also affect expectations. Experts advise drivers to improve fuel economy through regular vehicle maintenance, correct tire pressure and smooth acceleration, and to monitor fuel‑company promotions for possible discounts.
