Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu visited the Biosys medical facility in Batman, where he inspected production lines for capsule endoscopy devices, ventilators and other equipment. He said the plant can manufacture 1,000 mechanical ventilators, 800 neuromonitors, 2,200 ventilator‑compatible humidifiers and 1,250 high‑flow oxygen therapy devices, underscoring Turkey’s growing capacity for locally made health technology.
During a trip to Siirt, Memişoğlu highlighted ongoing hospital projects, including a 400‑bed facility that is 86% complete and a 25‑bed hospital in Şirvan. He emphasized that Turkey now supplies respiratory devices to 40 countries and urged citizens to adopt healthier lifestyles, positioning domestic health‑tech production as a model for the nation’s broader economic and medical goals.
