Turkey's İş Bankası Museum Launches 'Yan Yana' Exhibition in Ankara

The Türkiye İş Bankası Resim Heykel Müzesi opened the "Yan Yana" exhibition in Ankara, showcasing the collaborative artistic journey of husband‑wife duo Melâhat Üren and Eşref Üren. The show features portraits, still‑lifes, landscapes and interior scenes that reflect the couple’s long‑term co‑habitation and joint production, with particular emphasis on the period they spent in Ankara.

In parallel, the museum announced a four‑week "Autumn Conferences" series on Impressionism, beginning 5 September. Each Saturday from 12:00‑14:00, art historians will present lectures on 19th‑century Paris, the movement’s use of light and colour, its legacy in modern art, and the influence of the 1914 generation of Turkish painters. The program is free to attend, with tickets offering a discount for İş Bankası cardholders.
