Turkey's Interior Ministry App HAYAT 112 Acil Passes 800,000 Downloads

The Interior Ministry of Turkey has released the HAYAT 112 Acil Mobile Application, a fully domestic platform that lets citizens report emergencies with location, photo and video data. Integrated with e‑Devlet, the app covers first aid, public order, AFAD, school emergencies, KADES, UYUMA, traffic accidents, fires, stray‑animal reports and other incidents, allowing rapid dispatch of the appropriate authorities.

A public‑service spot promoting the app has begun airing on the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) website. Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi announced that the app has surpassed 800,000 downloads, highlighting its role in digitising emergency management and improving response times across Turkey.
