Turkey launches 170‑person TYP recruitment in Giresun and Ordu
Turkey’s Public Employment Agency (İŞKUR) announced the opening of 170 positions under the Toplum Yararına Program (TYP) in the Black Sea provinces of Giresun and Ordu. Three separate notices were issued: 50 participants for Bulancak (Giresun), 20 for Giresun city centre and 100 for Fatsa (Ordu). Applications are accepted online between 11 – 15 June 2026 (Bulancak 12 – 16 June) and selection will be made by a list‑based method.
The programmes will run from 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026, lasting 180 days with daily work hours of 7.5‑9 hours. Eligibility requires applicants to be registered as unemployed with İŞKUR, aged 18 or over, not receiving a pension or disability benefit, and to meet specific age and education criteria. Only one person per household may be accepted, and household income must fall below a set threshold. The Fatsa project is coordinated by the Ordu Provincial Governorate and the district kaymakamlık, aiming to support public‑sector activities in the flood‑affected region.
