Turkey's Judicial Council Reassigns Judges and Prosecutors under 2026 Decree

Judges and prosecutors whose positions were changed by the 2026 main decree of the Judges and Prosecutors Council (HSK) held a farewell ceremony in Vezirköprü. Local officials, including the district governor and mayor, thanked the departing magistrates and prosecutors and wished them success in their new assignments.

The HSK 1st Chamber convened at the Gölbaşı courthouse to review appeals against the recent reassignments. Members examined each objection individually and will announce decisions that will finalize the deployment changes mandated by the 2026 decree.
