Turkey's Justice Ministry reassigns 2,566 staff and prepares exams for 15,000 new hires

The Justice Ministry’s Criminal and Detention Facilities General Directorate (CTE) completed its 2026 voluntary transfer process, moving 2,566 personnel to new posts. Assignments were made automatically through the Norm and Appointment System (NAS) based on service points, preference rankings and institutional staffing needs. Managers, certain senior staff and disabled employees were excluded from the automated pool, and family‑unity rules were applied where both spouses work for the ministry.

Separately, the ministry concluded the application period for a recruitment drive targeting more than 15,000 contract positions, including court clerks, enforcement officers, nurses, psychologists and social workers. Practical exam lists will be posted online between 16‑20 July 2026, with oral examinations scheduled for 22 August 2026. Candidates must achieve at least 70 points out of 100, with scores split among professional knowledge, civic principles, general culture and communication skills. Results will be published on the ministry’s official website; no SMS or email notifications will be sent.
