Turkey's Justice Ministry to hire 15,000 contract staff

The Turkish Ministry of Justice announced a plan to recruit 15,000 contractual employees by 2026 across courts, prisons and support units. The largest allocations are for court clerks (5,259 positions) and enforcement and security officers (4,508 positions), with additional slots for bailiffs, judges' assistants, psychologists, nurses, technicians and other support roles.

Applications will be submitted online: positions in the General Directorate of Penitentiaries will use the e‑Devlet platform, while all other roles will be posted on the Presidential Career Portal. Candidates must hold a valid 2024 KPSS score and meet citizenship, background‑check and other eligibility criteria. New rules prohibit applying for multiple positions within the same job category, and applicants can select only one city per position. However, a candidate may apply for a Justice Ministry post and a separate CTE (Prisons) post simultaneously.
