Turkey Justice Ministry launches hiring of 15,000 new staff

The Turkish Ministry of Justice announced a recruitment drive for 15,000 contract personnel to strengthen its courts, prisons and enforcement offices. Justice Minister Akın Gürlek said the hiring follows President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s directive to accelerate judicial procedures.

The allocation is 8,000 positions for courts, 6,100 for the General Directorate of Penal and Detention Institutions, and 900 for enforcement (icra) clerks. Application details will be published in the Official Gazette on 6 June, and candidates can submit applications online between 7 June and 22 June via the e‑Devlet portal and the President’s Career Portal.

For the 900 clerk posts, applicants must meet minimum KPSS scores (70+) and will undergo practical and oral examinations in July. The recruitment aims to reduce case backlogs and improve the speed and efficiency of justice services across Turkey.
