KPSS 2026 Undergraduate exam held for 1.7 million candidates

The 2026 Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) Undergraduate General Ability and General Culture session was held on September 6, 2026. A total of 1,708,329 candidates participated across 145 examination centers in 81 Turkish provinces and Nicosia, Cyprus.

Following the completion of the session, the Measuring, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) released 10% of the basic question booklet and answer key to the public. Candidates who officially registered for the exam can access the full set of questions and their answers through the ÖSYM Candidate Transactions System (AİS) for a period of 10 days, until September 16, 2026, at 23:59.

Exam results are scheduled to be announced on October 7, 2026. The scores obtained will remain valid for two years for public sector appointments. The examination cycle will continue with Field Knowledge sessions on September 12-13, followed by the Associate Degree exam on October 4 and the Secondary Education exam on October 25.

While the event proceeded largely as planned, reports emerged regarding alleged irregularities at a testing center in Şanlıurfa, including claims of late entries and timing discrepancies. ÖSYM has not yet issued an official statement regarding these specific allegations.
