Turkey's Minister Göktaş Announces 7 Billion Lira Home Care Aid Disbursement

Aile ve Sosyal Hizmetler Bakanı Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that 7 billion lira in Evde Bakım (Home Care) assistance was deposited into the accounts of fully dependent citizens and their families. The payments cover about 516,000 beneficiaries and bring the total support provided since the programme began in 2006 to roughly 48.6 billion lira.

The monthly allowance for recipients was increased to 15,775 TL following the July civil‑service salary coefficient adjustment, up from 13,878 TL paid for the January‑July 2026 period. The heightened payments are scheduled to reach beneficiaries’ accounts in August.
