Turkey's Ministry of Trade bans Jinafire Long children's costume over hazardous chemicals

The Turkish Ministry of Trade announced an urgent decision to halt nationwide sales of the "Jinafire Long" children's costume and to collect all products already on the market. Laboratory analyses showed that the costume contains chemicals prohibited by Turkish safety regulations, failing mandatory chemical safety tests.

The ministry stated that the product will be removed from the market and urged consumers to check the Güvensiz Ürün Bilgi Sistemi (GÜBİS) for information on recalled items and unsafe products.
