Turkey's Murat Kurum Unveils Investment Packages for Osmaniye and Karapınar

Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum met with local officials in Osmaniye, where AK Party deputies, mayors and administrators discussed the city's priority needs, ongoing public‑investment projects and planned future works. The meeting emphasized coordinated action to boost Osmaniye’s development in line with Turkey’s centennial goals.

In Karapınar, Nevşehir, the minister’s talks with mayor Yasin Güneş resulted in a package that includes a 7 million TL grant, a tractor, 75 waste‑container units and the allocation of 15,000 m² of land for a new industrial site. The support aims to strengthen municipal services, create jobs and attract private investment.

Both visits underline the central government’s effort to channel resources to regional towns, improve infrastructure and stimulate local economies.
