Turkey's Official Gazette releases new regulations in August 2026

On 2 August 2026 the Turkish Official Gazette published a set of regulations that established the Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University Continuing Education and Research Center and the Gazi University Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Life Sciences Research Center, outlining their purpose, governance and activities. The issue also contained judicial, tender and other public notices, and the daily values of state debt securities released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey.

Two days later, on 4 August 2026, the Gazette issued further amendments covering environmental and climate policy, protection of drinking‑water basins, agricultural land use, and civil‑service promotion and title changes. Notable measures included new local climate‑action plans, revisions to water‑basin protection rules, updates to the regulation on the protection and use of agricultural lands, and changes to personnel promotion regulations for agencies such as the General Directorate of TÜRASAŞ and the Higher Education Quality Board.
