Turkey's political landscape focuses on domestic unity and global geopolitics

Political discussions in Turkey are increasingly focusing on the intersection of domestic stability and shifting global geopolitics. Veysel Şahin, the Izmir Provincial Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), emphasized that Turkey requires a strong internal front to navigate changing international power dynamics.

Şahin noted that global conflicts in regions such as Ukraine, Gaza, the Red Sea, and the Eastern Mediterranean are interconnected. He highlighted Turkey’s growing strategic importance in energy, trade, and logistics, specifically mentioning the Zengezur Corridor, the Development Road Project, and the Organization of Turkic States.
