Turkey's SGK adds three new drugs to reimbursement list

Turkey's Minister of Labour and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, announced that three new medications have been added to the Social Security Institution (SGK) reimbursement list. The additions include two Hemophilia B drugs and one cancer medication, one of which is produced domestically.

In addition to the new drugs, the SGK has increased the reimbursement amount for magistral drugs produced in pharmacies by 40 percent. The regulatory changes, published in the Official Gazette, also expand the scope of pediatric surgery procedures and implement improvements to bone marrow transplant processes, including updated screening methods for finding suitable donors.
