SGK and Turkey Insurance launch pensioner insurance discount program

The Social Security Institution (SGK) and Turkey Insurance signed a joint protocol in Ankara, witnessed by SGK Chairman Yunus Elitaş and Turkey Insurance General Manager Taha Çakmak. The agreement creates a programme for retirees who hold an Emekli Digital Card, offering discounts of up to 30 percent on complementary health, home, car (kasko) and traffic insurance and interest‑free instalments for up to 12 months. The age limit for first‑time complementary health insurance is raised from 64 to 70 years, allowing more seniors to enrol. The campaign runs from 29 July 2024 to 31 December 2026 and applies to both new and renewed policies. An extra 10 percent discount is available on cash payments for health and kasko products. Medipol Health Group, under the same protocol, provides zero co‑payment for the complementary health policies. A digital verification service lets retirees enrol via e‑Government without physical documents.
