Turkey raises July 2026 social aid payments for elderly, disabled and caregivers

Turkey's Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that, following a July adjustment to the civil‑servant salary coefficient, monthly social‑aid payments have been increased. The new amounts include an elderly pension of 7,257 TL (up from 6,393 TL), disability pensions of 5,793 TL for persons with 40‑69 % disability and 8,689 TL for those with 70 % or more, and a home‑care allowance of 15,755 TL. Payments for child‑related Social and Economic Support (SED) rose to 11,038 TL per child, while caregiver payments for foster families increased to 17,632 TL per child.

The ministry reported that roughly 8.1 billion TL in total aid has begun to be transferred to beneficiaries' accounts, covering about 4.7 billion TL in elderly pensions and 3.4 billion TL in disability pensions. Over 516 000 disabled individuals receive the home‑care allowance, amounting to 48.6 billion TL for the first half of the year. The government emphasized that the increases are part of its “Turkey 100th Year” vision to leave no citizen behind.
