Turkey's SPK approves Beta Enerji's 40‑lira per share IPO
The Capital Markets Board of Turkey (SPK) approved Beta Enerji & Technology AŞ's public offering at a fixed price of 40 Turkish lira per share. The issuance comprises 55 million TL nominal shares for a capital increase and 5.75 million TL nominal shares for a secondary sale, totaling 60.75 million TL nominal and targeting roughly 2.4 billion TL of proceeds with a 15% public float.
Lead underwriting will be handled by Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası (TSKB) and Ziraat Yatırım, with Yatırım Finansman Menkul Değerler acting as joint lead. Beta Enerji, based in Adana, is a leading transformer producer that exports to more than 80 countries and operates a new technology campus costing about $130 million.
In the same SPK decision, capital increases for Turkey Sigorta AŞ and Goodyear Lastikleri Türk AŞ were approved, along with a range of debt‑instrument and lease‑certificate issuances for other firms, though the primary focus remains Beta Enerji's IPO.
