Turkey's State Theatres to Hire 100 Contract Workers

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism's State Theatres General Directorate announced the recruitment of 100 contract staff for its central and regional units. The hiring will cover 60 technical and stage‑craft positions—including accessory makers, cardboard masters, wig makers, painters, stage welders, tailors, carpenters, mechanics and lighting technicians—and 40 stage‑machine operators.

Applications are accepted electronically via the e‑Devlet platform and the Career Portal from 3 – 17 August. Paper, postal or in‑person submissions will not be considered. Candidates must satisfy the general requirements of the Turkish Civil Service Law and the specific qualifications for each role. Those meeting the criteria will be invited to practical and oral examinations, with exam schedules and results posted on the directorate’s website.
