Turkey's ÖSYM releases 2026 exam staff salaries and delays ALES/2

The Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) together with the Ministry of National Education published the 2026 remuneration table for personnel serving at nationwide examinations. Gross pay ranges from 4,163.96 TL for a building exam supervisor to 1,665.59 TL for a proctor, with net amounts varying by civil‑service salary coefficient.

ÖSYM also announced that the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES/2) originally slated for 26 July 2026 will be held on 2 August 2026. The change is due to a NATO summit in Ankara that will cause heightened security and traffic restrictions. Application dates remain 10‑18 June, and results are scheduled for 14 August 2026.
