Turkey's 2026 KPSS Exam Applications Open on July 1

The Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) announced that applications for the 2026 Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) opened on 1 July 2026 and will close at 23:59 on 13 July 2026. Candidates can apply online via the ÖSYM AİS website or mobile app, or in person at ÖSYM application centers.

The licensed (Lisans) exam schedule is: General Ability‑General Culture on 6 September, Field Knowledge sessions on 12‑13 September, and the Religious Services Knowledge Test (DHBT) on 1 November. Results for the licensed exam are set for 7 October. Pre‑licence (Ön Lisans) applications run 29 July–10 August with the exam on 4 October and results on 30 October. Upper‑secondary (Ortaöğretim) applications run 27 August–8 September, the exam on 25 October and results on 19 November. Central placement preferences are scheduled for 9–16 July.

Fees were also released: 800 TL for the General Ability‑General Culture session and 500 TL for each Field Knowledge session. A 50 % surcharge applies to late (mid‑July) applications. Candidates must attend the General Ability‑General Culture session; participation in other sessions is optional.
