Turkey's TMO Grapples with Grain Storage Capacity During Harvest

Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi (TMO) General Manager Ahmet Güldal toured the grain procurement season sites in Çorum, Amasya, Tokat and Yozgat, inspecting purchase, storage and preservation processes and meeting producers to hear their concerns.

Yeni Party Kırıkkale provincial chairman Onur Yüksel Bozdağ visited the Çelebi district, highlighting that the current grain harvest has exceeded the TMO’s silo capacity of about 200,000 tonnes. He called for urgent additional storage at TMO purchase points in Çelebi, Yahşihan and Çerikli to prevent disruptions for farmers.
