Turkey's Trade Ministry blocks guaranteed‑visa ads on Instagram

The Advertising Board of Turkey's Ministry of Trade has tightened oversight of social‑media promotions that promise guaranteed visas. After identifying several Instagram accounts offering "30 gün içinde randevu garantisi" for Schengen, UK, Canada and US visas, the board ordered a three‑month suspension of these advertisements.

The decision also references earlier penalties imposed on websites that made similar false guarantees. By halting the ads, the board aims to protect consumers from deceptive claims that unauthorized firms can secure visas within a set timeframe.

Affected Instagram accounts include @cilekvizeankara, @vizeburadan, @vizemerkezi and others that advertised rapid visa results such as "Schengen randevunuzu sadece 30 gün içerisinde almanıza yardımcı oluyoruz".
