Turkey's university majors with the highest graduate employment rates
Turkey's Statistics Institute (TÜİK) released its 2025 Higher Education Employment Indicators, revealing which bachelor's programmes achieve the strongest job placement. The data show that medical graduates enjoy the highest recorded employment rate at 95.5%, finding a first job in an average of 3.9 months. Special Education Teacher graduates follow with a 90.8% employment rate and a 4.4‑month average job‑search period. Other programmes with employment rates above 87% include Aviation Electrical and Electronics (89.9%), Mathematics Engineering (89.8%), Nursing (89.8%), Speech‑and‑Language Therapy (89.3%), Aircraft Maintenance (89.1%), Electrical Engineering (89.1%), Control and Automation Engineering (88.0%) and Pharmacy (87.7%). Overall, 73.9% of all Bachelor’s graduates are employed, with an average first‑job search time of 14.2 months and 56.7% working in their field of study. The figures are expected to guide prospective students and career planners in choosing degree programmes with better labour‑market prospects.
