Turkey's YKS candidates must confirm OBP data by June 30, 2026
The Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) opened the OBP (Ortaöğretim Başarı Puanı) verification window on 23 June 2026 for applicants to the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). Candidates are required to check their high‑school diploma grades and approve the record through the ÖSYM Candidate Operations System (AİS) before 16:00 on 30 June 2026. The approved figures will be used in the placement score calculation.
Applicants who find discrepancies must contact their secondary school, which can correct the data via the Ministry of National Education’s e‑Okul system or, if the school’s data is missing, through the Public Institution Operations System (KKİS). After the school updates the record, candidates must re‑enter AİS and confirm the corrected information. ÖSYM warned that individual change requests will not be accepted and that schools must submit corrections directly.
If the update is not completed by the deadline, the system will retain the existing data, potentially disadvantaging students whose final grades improve after the initial entry. The process is critical because the OBP is added to the raw YKS score and can shift a candidate’s ranking by thousands of places.
