Turkic states security and defense cooperation project launched

The Central Asia and South Caucasus Freedom of Speech Network (CASCFEN) is conducting a project titled ‘From the Shusha Declaration to the Organization of Turkic States’. This initiative, supported by a grant from the State Agency for Support of Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, focuses on the integration, shared values, and development prospects of the Turkic world.

A key component of the project is a series of interviews exploring security and defense cooperation among Turkic states. The discussions aim to address military cooperation, common security threats—including terrorism, transnational crime, illegal migration, and cyberattacks—and the potential for regional stability through enhanced defense industry coordination and joint military training.
