Turkish actors Mehmet Aslantuğ and Mert Ramazan Demir announce new series

Turkish actors Mehmet Aslantuğ and Mert Ramazan Demir are preparing for new television projects.

Mehmet Aslantuğ announced his return to acting after a four-year hiatus. He will star in the series ‘Başkalarının Hayatı’, marking the 40th year of his professional career.

Mert Ramazan Demir is reportedly in principle agreement to star in ‘Susuz Yaz’, a television adaptation of Necati Cumalı’s literary work produced by Ay Yapım. Demir is expected to portray the character Hasan. The production, which may be filmed in Adana, is currently in the casting and preparation stages, with Yusuf Pirhasan expected to direct and Sema Ergenekon to write the script.
