Turkish Airlines flight diverted to Enfidha after failed Tunis landings

A Turkish Airlines flight traveling from Istanbul to Tunis experienced panic among passengers following three failed landing attempts at Tunis-Carthage Airport due to severe thunderstorms in the region.

Video footage captured by a passenger showed chaos on board, including a moment where the aircraft appeared to drop suddenly, causing passengers to fear for their lives. Following the unsuccessful attempts, the crew diverted the Airbus to Enfidha-Hammamet Airport, located approximately 100 kilometers south of the capital, where it landed safely.

After a several-hour delay at the diversion airport, the aircraft eventually returned to Tunis-Carthage Airport to complete its journey. The flight experienced a total delay of over six hours, and no injuries were reported.
