Turkish Airlines names new aircraft after Düzköy district

Turkish Airlines (THY) has named a new aircraft after Düzköy, a district in Trabzon, Turkey. This follows the airline's long-standing tradition of naming aircraft after Turkish cities, districts, and significant historical or touristic sites.

Düzköy is the birthplace of Turkey's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu. The addition of Düzköy to the fleet follows other Trabzon districts, such as Maçka and Akçaabat, which have previously been used as aircraft names. This naming convention is intended to promote local regions and enhance the airline's brand visibility across its domestic and international flight networks.
