Turkish Airlines reports growth in third quarter 2026
Turkish Airlines reported its financial results for the third quarter of 2026, showing revenue growth despite rising operational costs. The company’s revenue increased by 19.3 percent year-on-year to 8.3 billion dollars, while its core operating profit reached 929 million dollars.
Passenger numbers rose by 4.7 percent to 28.5 million, with a load factor of 87.1 percent. Turkish Cargo also saw significant growth, with revenues increasing 45.6 percent to exceed 1.2 billion dollars.
However, the airline faced challenges from rising jet fuel costs, which increased by 118 percent since the start of the year, and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. These factors contributed to a decline in the EBITDA margin to 17.6 percent. Consequently, the company has revised its annual capacity growth target for 2026 downward to 10 percent.
