Turkish and Chinese Researchers Obtain Chinese Patents for Three Security Systems
Prof. Dr. Akif Akgül of Hitit University in Turkey and Prof. Dr. Chunbiao Li of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology in China led a joint research team that secured three patents from the Chinese Patent Office (CNIPA). The patents cover novel electronic systems for covert communication, advanced encryption, chaotic signal generation and three‑dimensional signal production.
The first system uses a special electronic circuit to create complex, hard‑to‑predict signals that can be easily reconfigured, enabling communication channels that are virtually impossible to copy. The second system employs memristor components to control signal power and polarity, producing self‑adjusting secure signals useful for encryption and random‑number generation. The third system features a 3‑D signal‑generation circuit with precise control of signal strength and direction, applicable to secure communications, radar, signal‑detection and other advanced electronic applications. Potential uses span cybersecurity, radar technology and related fields.
