Turkish Armed Forces conduct MEHDEN-26 electronic warfare tests

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB) conducted the Joint Electronic Warfare Trials-2026 (MEHDEN-26) from October 19 to 23, 2026. The exercises took place at the Air Force Electronic Warfare Test and Training Center field in Konya.

The primary objective of the trials was to evaluate the effectiveness of electronic warfare systems currently used in operational areas, as well as to test new systems still under development. The activities aimed to identify technical and tactical areas requiring improvement to better meet military requirements.

Participants included the Turkish General Staff, various force commands, the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), relevant public institutions, and defense industry companies. This collaborative approach allows for the integration of field usage conditions into the ongoing system development processes.
