Turkish Auto Drag Championship held in Kepez

The third leg of the Turkish Auto Drag Championship was held at the Kepez New Drag Track, organized through a collaboration between Kepez Municipality and the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation. Athletes from various provinces across Turkey competed in different categories to achieve the best times in high-performance vehicle races.

Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz attended the event to observe the competitions and participated in a test drive on the track. During his visit, Kocagöz emphasized the importance of providing safe, controlled environments for motor sports to prevent young people from engaging in dangerous racing on public streets and roads. He stated that the municipality provides such tracks specifically so that youth do not have to practice the sport in unsafe areas.
