Turkish banks implement varying daily ATM deposit limits

Turkish banks have established varying daily limits for ATM cash deposits, with significant differences between institutions. As of October 16, 2026, Yapı Kredi, Enpara, and QNB Finansbank offer the highest limits, allowing up to 185,000 TL per day through card or QR code transactions. ING follows with a 150,000 TL limit, while several major banks, including Türkiye İş Bankası and Garanti BBVA, maintain a 100,000 TL threshold.

Other institutions show more varied limits: Kuveyt Türk allows up to 100,000 TL via combined card and QR transactions, while Ziraat Bankası and Halkbank set limits at 50,000 TL. The lowest limits are found at Akbank (25,000 TL) and Aktif Bank (20,000 TL).

In cases of technical ATM malfunctions, such as when a machine dispenses less cash than requested or fails to return funds after a balance deduction, customers are advised to contact their bank immediately. According to BDDK guidelines, users should record the ATM location, device number, and transaction time. Disputes should be filed through the customer's own bank, even if the machine belongs to a different institution, to initiate an investigation and potential refund process.
