Halkbank launches sixth Producing Women Competition

Halkbank has announced the opening of applications for the sixth edition of its ‘Producing Women Competition’ (Üreten Kadınlar Yarışması). The initiative aims to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem and increase the visibility of successful female entrepreneurs.

Applications are open from August 24 to November 1, 2026, via the bank’s official website. Following the application period, participants will undergo an evaluation process including a Master Class Brand Training Program and jury stages. Winners will be announced at an award ceremony scheduled for March 26, 2027.

The competition features several categories, including ‘Producer Woman Entrepreneur of the Year’, ‘Innovation, Technology and Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Rising Star’, ‘Sustainability’, ‘Women’s Cooperative’, and ‘Social Entrepreneur’. Winners will receive cash prizes along with in-kind support to aid their business growth.

Halkbank General Manager Recep Süleyman Özdil stated that the bank aims to support women through financing, education, mentorship, and business development programs. He noted that since 2021, the bank has provided 142 billion TL in financial support to approximately 280,000 female entrepreneurs.
