Turkish banks roll out July 2026 pensioner cash bonuses

Several Turkish banks announced new cash‑promotion campaigns for retirees effective 1‑31 July 2026, following recent pension‑salary adjustments. The offers require pensioners to transfer their SGK, Bağ‑Kur or Emekli Sandığı salary to the bank and commit to keeping the salary there for three years. Payments are tiered by monthly salary – for example, VakıfBank, Ziraat Bankası, Yapı Kredi and others provide unconditional cash bonuses ranging from 5 000 TL to 12 000 TL, while additional product‑use conditions such as credit‑card spending, bill‑payment instructions or digital‑banking activity raise the total possible reward to between 30 000 TL and 35 000 TL depending on the bank.

Banks participating in the competition include VakıfBank, Yapı Kredi, Ziraat Bankası, ING Bank, Akbank, Garanti BBVA, Halkbank, Albaraka Türk, Şekerbank, QNB, TEB and DenizBank. All campaigns are limited to the July 2026 period and are marketed as a way for retirees to earn substantial extra income by moving their pension payments to the participating institution.
