Turkish banks unveil updated pensioner cash promotion packages

Following a 17.76% increase in pension payments announced in July 2026, Turkey’s major banks refreshed their cash‑promotion schemes to attract retirees who move their salary accounts. Garanti BBVA now offers a cash bonus of 6,250‑15,000 TL, with additional bonuses and rewards that can raise the total to about 25,000 TL. QNB’s promotion ranges from 8,500‑20,000 TL in cash, potentially reaching 31,000 TL when extra offers are applied. ING (INGING) provides up to 15,000 TL cash and total rewards up to 28,000 TL. Akbank promises up to 20,000 TL cash and, with supplementary campaigns, total benefits can climb to 50,000 TL, the most generous among the banks. İş Bankası, VakıfBank, Akbank, Ziraat Bankası, Halkbank and other institutions also revised their offers, with cash payments between roughly 5,000 TL and 15,000 TL and total possible earnings from 12,000 TL up to 40,000 TL depending on salary brackets and additional product usage.
