Turkish Basketball Federation hosts coaching seminar in Ankara

The Turkish Basketball Federation organized a Regional Coach Development Seminar at the Ankara Sports Hall on August 1-2. As part of the 2026 training program, the event hosted more than 1,200 coaches.

On the first day, approximately 600 first and second-level coaches attended sessions covering preseason preparation, shooting balance, footwork, finishing techniques, and defensive development. Presenters included specialists from Anadolu Efes SK, Bahçeşehir Koleji SK, and the Men's National Team.

The second day focused on third and fourth-level coaches, with approximately 600 participants. Presentations included the role of big men in pick-and-roll plays and team defense construction. Youth teams from ÇABA SK, Türk Telekom SK, and VAMOS SK participated as demonstration teams.
