Turkish Cargo renews partnership with Turkey Exporters Assembly for seventh time
Turkish Airlines' cargo division, Turkish Cargo, signed a new cooperation protocol with the Turkey Exporters Assembly (TİM) for the seventh time. The agreement, signed at Turkish Cargo's headquarters, will allow exporters to ship products to 49 destinations across 30 countries at an average discount of 34% compared with regular rates. It covers general cargo as well as perishable, pharmaceutical, fish, meat, fruit and vegetable shipments.
Prof. Dr. Murat Şeker, Chairman of Turkish Airlines' Board and Executive Committee, highlighted that Turkish Cargo helped generate over $24 billion in foreign exchange last year and contributed to Turkey’s record‑breaking export growth. TİM President Mustafa Gültepe stressed the strategic importance of air cargo for competitive pricing, speed and logistics flexibility, noting that the expanded network now includes key markets such as China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan and the United States.
