Turkish chamber election hopefuls tour local business associations

Mahmut Boyraz, candidate for president of the Malatya Trade and Industry Chamber (MTSO), visited the Malatya Business and Artisans Association (MESOB) and its chairman Şevket Keskin. The meeting focused on Malatya’s economic structure, challenges faced by merchants, and the need for local coordination and joint solutions to boost commercial activity.

Mustafa Ertaş, candidate for president of the Nevşehir Trade and Industry Chamber (NTSO), toured the Zahire Market in Nevşehir, listening to merchants’ concerns. He highlighted the region’s agricultural potential, especially pumpkin seeds, and called for stronger processing, branding, and promotion of local products at national and international levels. Both visits are part of the candidates’ election campaigns to engage directly with local business communities and present development plans.
