Turkish chamber of commerce candidates announce economic projects
As chamber of commerce elections approach in several Turkish provinces this October, candidates are presenting various economic and tourism-focused projects.
In Çanakkale, Turgay Kılıç, a candidate for the Çanakkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ÇTSO), has announced the ‘ÇTSO Digital Menu and Çanakkale Guide’ project. The initiative aims to support the digitalization of local restaurants by providing free, multilingual digital menus via QR codes. This project is intended to reduce printing costs for businesses and improve communication with foreign tourists. Additionally, the digital platform will integrate a guide to Çanakkale’s historical, cultural, and natural attractions.
In Trabzon, Bekir Aktürk, a candidate for the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TTSO) Assembly, emphasized a collaborative approach to the upcoming elections. Aktürk stated that the process should be viewed as a race for service and brotherhood rather than a conflict, focusing on his goal to contribute to the local business community and economy through experience and shared responsibility.
