Turkish cities host year‑end school celebrations for children

In Bayburt, the Bayburt Provincial Mufti’s Office held a year‑end ceremony for 4‑ to 6‑year‑old Quran course students at Yenişehir Park. The program began with a moment of silence and the national anthem, after which the children recited short surahs for their families. Mufti Bayram Danacı highlighted that the courses “play a critical role not only in religious education but also in character building.” The event continued with games, sack races, rope pulling, face painting and inflatable playgrounds.

Meanwhile, Aydın’s metropolitan municipality organized a year‑end grade‑book celebration at Fuar Aydın in the Aydın Textile Park. Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu invited families and pupils to enjoy inflatable rides, stage shows, acrobatics, jugglers, clowns, illusion acts and food stalls. The festivities include a concert by singer Melis Fis on June 14 and will run each evening from 14:00 to 22:00 until that date.
