Turkish citizens detained in Skopje for attempted murder

Two Turkish citizens have been detained in Skopje following an attempted murder involving several other Turkish nationals. The incident occurred in an apartment in the Karposh neighborhood, where the suspects allegedly used sharp objects to attack two 26-year-old Turkish men.

According to the Skopje Basic Public Prosecutor's Office, the attack involved three suspects. One individual allegedly acted as an accomplice by providing the location and entry code for the building on Prashka Street. During the assault, the suspects attempted to kill one victim with multiple knife wounds, while a second victim was injured while attempting to intervene.

Following the attack, the suspects attempted to flee the country via the Blace border crossing. Two suspects, identified as K.M. (36) and S.B.P. (22), were apprehended by police on the Jadranska Magistrala in Skopje. A third suspect, the alleged accomplice, successfully fled to Kosovo. Authorities have proposed an international arrest warrant for the individual in Kosovo and are seeking detention measures for those in custody.
