Turkish civil servants get low‑interest loan and July salary increase

ING Bank introduced a special loan package for Turkish public employees, offering a 3.59% interest rate—well below market levels—and flexible repayment plans. Example terms include a 50,000 TL loan repaid over 12 months at 5,534 TL per month and a 400,000 TL loan over 12 months at 44,272 TL per month.

The government’s July 2026 wage revision, based on a 13.93% inflation index, raises the minimum civil‑servant salary from 61,890 TL to 70,512 TL. Pensions also increase, with the lowest pension moving from 27,772 TL to 31,640 TL. Across professions, engineers see earnings rise from 84,721 TL to 96,524 TL, police officers from 80,341 TL to 91,534 TL, and nurses from 76,798 TL to 87,497 TL.
