Turkish football clubs ramp up transfer activity ahead of new season
İstanbul‑based amateur side Bahçelievlerspor reinforced its squad by signing experienced goalkeeper Sezai Yüksel, who has played in Turkey’s 2nd, 3rd and Regional Amateur leagues and earlier trained with Galatasaray’s youth teams.
Balıkesirspor president Mert Acar announced that the club will make 19 external signings, stressing that no player will be taken “out of friendship”. The team has already added forward Emre Gemici and former champion Akın Akman, and continues scouting based on performance criteria rather than personal contacts.
Trabzonspor’s transfer agenda remains extensive. The club is reviving talks with Konyaspor over defender Adil Demirbağ, now proposing a new deal that includes young prospects Göktan Gürpüz and Serdar Saatçi alongside a revised fee. Additional targets mentioned include World Cup‑exposed left‑back Sidny Lopes Cabral, free‑agent striker Bamba Dieng, winger Wagner Pina, and several other midfield and attacking options such as Viktor Tsygankov, Edon Zhegrova, Adam Gnezda Cerin, and youngster Kenan Haroun.
