Turkish clubs Beşiktaş and Galatasaray announce new player transfers

Turkish sports clubs Beşiktaş and Galatasaray Daikin have announced new player signings as they prepare for their upcoming seasons.

Beşiktaş's women's football team has added Albanian midfielder Mesuare Begallo to its squad. This follows a period of significant roster changes for the club, which recently appointed Didem Karagenç as head coach and has already secured several other transfers including Selda Akgöz and Milica Popovic.

In volleyball, Galatasaray Daikin has signed 30-year-old Turkish spiker Merve Tanyel to a one-year contract. Tanyel, who began her professional career with Fenerbahçe, joins a squad that has recently bolstered its lineup with players such as Ayça Aykaç and Vita Akimova in pursuit of league and CEV Champions League success.
