Turkish clubs Karşıyaka and Erzurumspor FK finalize key player contract extensions

Karşıyaka is in talks to extend the contract of striker Ömer Faruk Sezgin, who returned from a betting suspension to score 16 goals and provide two assists in 16 matches last season. The club expects to confirm the new deal after final talks at the Çiğli Selçuk Yaşar facilities.

Erzurumspor FK has renewed contracts with Chilean winger Martin Rodriguez, who appeared in 31 league and cup games last season, registering six goals and five assists, and with academy graduate Furkan Özhan, who logged nine matches with one goal and one assist. The extensions keep ten of the club’s expiring players for the upcoming season.
